Hey guys! Since Thursday ModaLx has returned to our Lisbon. But, as always, it was reaaalllllllyyyyy difficult to get invitations. Here (in Portugal), there is like a "mafia" controlling the industry, that is to say, fashion is only for a small, tiny group of persons who don't let other persons get into the business. Got the idea? So, our fashion weeks are full of people who don't give a shit and just want to be there to show up in magazines. Of course there are exceptions, of course professionals are there as well. But the majority of people is not really into fashion, is just really into getting their 15 minutes of fame. It is a shame... Because I do think it would be wonderful to our market if we had the chance to post about all the fashion shows. However, we won't be doing that, instead we will be wondering what is happening right now inside those closed doors.
As you can feel, the cool weather is coming again (YEAHHHH)... The best way to celebrate (or not, for those who don't like winter...) is by wearing a nice and confortable cardigan which can be mixed with ... hum... EVERYTHING. Here are some looks from several brands for inspiration! Have fun mixing! With skirts, summer shorts, dresses, jeans, pants or even without anything under
Although the sales at Maison LV are increasing, the runway show does not look so promissing, in my opinion. Where are the bunny ears? The AMAZING shoes? The crazy old queen of pop Madonna? We miss all that, at least I do! The ready to wear A/W 2010/2011 is very feminine, kinda 30's lookish and we've seen that... I'm sad I want the bunny ears ;(
