London Day 6, Part II - A Wonderful dinner

Yesterday I had dinner with a friend in a superb restaurant called Yauatcha (15-17, Broadwick Street, Soho, W1F 0DL), which is a mix of japanese, chinese, thai restaurant and nouvelle cuisine. Amazing decoration, great ambience and super tasty food.

London - Day 6

After visiting 5 different churchs we didn't get permission to take photos inside any of them. So we decided to shoot in the outside of St.George Church in the Bloomsbury area and we are going to change the outfits in a bar nearby. Tomorrow I will let you know how it went =)

London - Day 5 Preparing the photo shoot

Yesterday Nick explained the group project: a photo shoot on location, with make-up artist, photographer and hairstylist just for us!! I've been thinking about clothes, poses, location and what kind of model we want. Have decided to make a rockstar edge style in a church. Now we are trying to find the right church to ask for permission (what I think it will be quite hard). I will update later. See you guys

London - Day 4

Today was the day! My summer course has started. I must confess I thought it was going to be easy because it is just one week, but Nick Andrews (our teacher) said we have to complete 3 projects: the white t-shirt project, the trends project and the fashion shoot. So, the first ones are individual work and the fashion shoot is going to be a group project. In this amazing last project we are supposed to think about and produce a whole fashion shoot which is going to be photographed, hairstyled and make-uped by professionals, the rest (that is to say the styling of the clothes) is up to us!!! I'm so excited.
In the afternoon I went to Tate Modern to search for inspiration to the white t-shirt project and after that went to Berwick Street, Soho, to some cloth shops in order to take somo fabric's samples which I will use to the trends project.

London - Days 1,2 and 3

I'm so sorry for the late post. It has been crazy since I arrived, and my summer course did not even start!
So, on Friday I have dinner at a Thai Restaurant and enjoyed a lot, then I went to Tate Modern to see the surrealism exhibition.

On Saturday I went to Portobello Market, then had sushi and cinema (at the Electric, where we actually seat on couches. The dinner was at the lebanese.

Today I went to Cambden Town, my fav place in London. Then went to see the Grace Kelly exhibition at V&A Museum. I would like to make a post only about her and the exhibition. Maybe when I come back to Lisbon again. And in the afternoon since I was sooooooooooooo tired had a picnic with some friends at Hyde Park.

These vintage earrings I'm wearing were bought yesterday in Portobello.

NYC is alive!
